Level 1: A resident who is ambulatory and can perform
most activities of daily living (ADLs) with minimal assistance.
Level 2: A resident who requires moderate hands-on assistance with ADLs, orientation
management, and assistance with medication management.
Level 3: A resident who requires extensive hands-on assistance with ADLs,
medication management, and/or special care needs such as incontinence or diabetes.
Special Needs Program: A resident who may require customized care plans due
to severe dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
